Public Service Agreements. Partners for Brent is working with the City Council and other bodies to develop Public Service Agreements (PSA'a). PSA's are new, voluntary agreements between central and local government which are will result in more government funding if public services achieve improved results in certain key areas. The aim is to achieve better outcomes for local people than if there had been no PSA.
To begin with £1 million is available for this initiative and successful negotiation of a range of targets will result in additional Performance Reward Grant of approximately £7 million.
